Verdane Leadership Academy

About the program

As a leader at Verdane, you play a critical role in driving performance, creating value and shaping how we work together. At a high pace, with high ambition and in a complex environment, leadership must provide clarity, accountability and strong team performance.

This leadership program is built on Verdane’s values and is designed from the ground up to reflect the kind of leadership and culture we are committed to creating. The aim is to strengthen our leaders by building psychological safety, trust and a culture of honest feedback. When leaders do this well, employees feel heard, valued and confident to speak up, which unlocks the kind of performance and resilience that makes teams thrive.

We also want to empower our leaders to have greater impact on the business. The program provides the tools and confidence to lead with clarity, make better decisions and drive results that matter.

Who the program is for

The program is open to all people managers (with a team) across all departments:

  • IP/IR: Director level and up
  • Platform/Elevate: Manager level and up

Content and approach

The program is built around the leadership challenges most relevant to Verdane:

  • Leadership expectations at Verdane
  • Psychological safety in practice
  • Building high performing teams
  • Feedback culture
  • Conflict management and difficult conversations

We bring these topics to life through a practical, hands on approach:

  • Real business cases from Verdane
  • Training in feedback, difficult conversations and team effectiveness
  • Explicit focus on psychological safety and accountability
  • Behavioural assignments between modules
  • Digital follow ups to support implementation

Program structure

The program consists of two modules and two digital follow ups, delivered over approximately five to six months.

  • Two modules (lunch to lunch) at the Verdane Stockholm office. Each module starts with a shared lunch at 11:30 on day one, followed by program start at 12:00. The module concludes at 12:30 on day two, followed by a shared lunch.
  • A digital follow up of approximately 1.5 hours after each module

Preparation

Feedback and self reflection

Before the first module, a structured preparation phase takes place. This is where you build the foundation for what you will work on during the program.

Self reflection
You will be asked to reflect on a few questions about your own leadership. These reflections are for your own preparation and do not need to be submitted:

  • How do you define leadership?
  • What are your main leadership strengths today, and what should you improve or do differently to be more effective?
  • What could be clearer or work better in how you give and receive feedback at Verdane?

Feedback from colleagues
You will select three colleagues who work closely with you. They, together with your immediate manager (four voices in total), will be invited by Lantella to confidentially respond to two short questions:

  • What are this leader’s main strengths, and what should they improve or do differently to be more effective?
  • What could be clearer or work better in how this leader gives and receives feedback at Verdane?

How responses are handled

  • All responses are reviewed only by the program director at Lantella
  • Responses are consolidated into an anonymised summary, so that individual quotes cannot be traced back
  • The summary is shared with you as part of your preparation
  • All feedback is handled with full confidentiality

Your commitment
The program is designed as one integrated development journey, where each part builds on the previous one. To get the most out of it, and to honour the experience of your fellow participants, we ask that you:

  • Attend all modules and follow ups in the group you signed up for
  • Participate fully and engage actively throughout
  • Prioritise the full program from the start

After you sign up
Once you have registered, within a day you will receive a calendar invitation from Lantella.

To ensure the best possible outcome of the leadership training, it is important to view the program as a cohesive whole. Taking into account the structure, pedagogy, and the learning of other participants, we therefore strongly encourage you to attend all sessions according to the schedule you signed up for from the start.

Please provide the names and email addresses of three people who work closely with you. These individuals, as well as your immediate manager, will receive two short questions about your leadership from Lantella. The purpose is to give the program facilitator a relevant basis for tailoring the training to your most important development areas. The responses will only be reviewed by the program facilitator and will be treated confidentially.

General terms and conditions
To ensure the best possible implementation of the training, we would like to share some important points:

  1. On site participation.
  2. Binding registration. Registration is binding.
